I like the skin's of the Plagueborn weps, alot,and i would like some decent modded ones

So, Do anyone know a good place, where there's alot of Afflicted&chests?
during Zunjiang ZM yesterday i got two weps in 2 missions, but that isnt really good, imo

I vanq'ed Morosov Trail last night and got 4 Plagueborn drops. None of them were low req, but there are some afflicted and about 5 or 6 chests that spawn there.

If you enter Shenzun Tunnels from Maatu Keep there some Afflicted spawns i used a perma sin with sliver and some heals and ranger with FS and Serpent Quickness + Quickening Zephyr to farm them. About the chest i don't know but i hope this will help.

For those who want an Anwser, a friend of mine just told me about "The Undercity"
Go there with a perma, and run 4-5 chests within 5 min :]]]
ive gotten 2 elite tomes, and a very decent modded Shield so far!

A very good place to do chest-run is "Silent Surf" in the Jade Sea area in Factions. I've gotten a couple of plagueborn weps, along with outcast weps, jade weps and lots of others.

Easiest way would be to get a sin there and run a perma build, there are enemies though who can strip your SF if you aren't careful where you run.

I just got a plagueborn Shield req9 strength. Its 16 armor but purple. I can mod it for perfect is this worth it? The shield has a eye in it or something.. I looked in the trade for the shield but non was listed for the price..

Are these rare?

You can't mod a Plagueborn Shield. Purple is probably completely worthless unless it has a particularily good mod combination, like +9 vs demons and +26hp or -2(stance or ench).
Ones with 2 good mods are rare.

oh this thing has two mods.. just never though about it. I think its still in storage.. I also think that one of the mods was enchants last 17% longer
I was running my monk so that is why I remember that...i will post a screenie of it..

Theres no such thing as shield with 17% longer enchants. but Best way run chests with plagueborn drops is Outside Local quarter Vizunah square to undercity,

Fairly close at the beginning theres usually 2-3 Chests around afflicked. makes it fairly effective for plagueborn drops

If ur looking do this in normal mode u mostlikely will hardly get max dmg drops. ofc some. and mostly purples. but in hardmode it gives Alot plagueborn drops gold max.

i got a great place now, in Undercity, lots of chests, and eaven an easy ele boss that u can sliver to get a tome :]

Agreed. Undercity is the best place. I just don't really like running those chests, because probably 50% of the chest drops are purple and gold armors.....

...and ye: Plagueborn Shield, Focus and Scepter can never be modded.

@kajusbonus: Yep. That Boss is great. Sliver armor ALWAYS attacks him first^^
...and chests near the Kappas can drop Celestial items

Well, the kappa is easely target, unless u try to mob them..
and ive used 50 keys now, in undercity, 3 elite tomes(+2 elite ele , from the boss), 12 purples, 10 gold armor, 4 purple, and rest Gold Plagueborns..

Getting plagueborn shield drop is allready fairly rare

Getting decent one maybe 1 from 1000 drops
